Ooowwwwww! Happy full moon m'dear! You look utterly lovely, of course, like a gypsy mistress about to tell all of my fortunes, but man I'm sorry your lil shoppe was cold. I hate being cold indoors. Very excited about Jonathan Wilson and possible feathered apes too. Thanks for sharing.

I grew up in Sacramento and left when I was 18. I wish your shop had been there when I was. All I had was B-Bops, Cheap Thrills and Olipom (before it was Bows and Arrows). No one rode bikes in midtown because everyone could still afford gas. Capitol Garage still had all ages shows and was in that funky little double-decker space. Every time I visit Sacramento, it seems a little more down to earth and livable. The people are friendlier and more neighborly, and are actually out and about instead of in their cars. I am going to visit towards the end of December and I plan on stopping by your shop!

very nice! the skirt is gorgeous! love the color. and the jewelry...amazing as always!

the pbs episode looks rad! too bad i don't have tv anymore. i love that a group of crows is called a murder of crows.

i knew at least one person would comment on my zappa post. so rad about your bumper sticker. this morning my kids were saying, "watch out where those huskies go..." hahaha anyway, hope all is well up there in sacramento!

ps-i agree about a shoe post. all your shoes rock, show em to us!

ravens and full moons have been themes of my life lately too. your teal velveteen is the perfect color of a twilight sky in the desert. you are radiant and your coat truly rocks.

by the way, i love what nichole wrote, above. i LOVED capitol garage, so much, dang i miss those days. although i am glad there are more vintage shops now, especially your little masterpiece of vintage bliss! but back in the day be-bop and cheap thrills were occasionally divine enough for a drive down from the ole ville.

love the sword necklace too. reminds me of the tarot card, ace of swords, force, form, choice, ideas!

Hi Nicole! I've been missing your blog, and i've been sick hence this late comment. Anyone ever tell you how majestic you look! hehe i so almost kept that skirt for myself. it looks divine on you as does that coat! I always feel like something special is going to happen when i'm outside in a full moon light. I'm a Cancerian and I try to trust that she the moon is on my side (and i alternate this with being terrified of the crazies). Hope the shop is warmer now. x
