worn + woven

worn to the gaultier exhibition: vintage sweater dress and cardigan set with vintage suede otk boots and zana bayne necklace harness

worn to work at the shop saturday: vintage 70s patchwork wrap blouse and vintage 70s patchwork skirt with vintage sbicca boots

woven on monday during a two-day field trip to fort ross with my son's class: while my little band of artisans toiled, I made this 10-minute palm-sized basket

That lil basket is awesome!!! I've been wanting to weave one for some time- it all started with my daughters Native American school project :D Haven't tried it yet though, was it easy or hard? I've got crafting ADD and find it hard to get into a project that requires too much- haha

That second patchwork ensemble is flippin amazeballs. And i don't usually say "amazeballs" - but I'm so tired of using "amazing"

Wow, I love how the dress and sweater set look together. I often think those kinds of things are just too much, but this is lovely!

Impressed with your weaving skillz? Yes! I'm sure you looked like the coolest mom on earth while you did this too. Dang girl! I hope there's basket weaving at the symposium...

That sweater dress set is AMAZING (I mean "amazeballs") and I love the way you've combined pieces in the second outfit. You are the master :)

Also, you must teach us how to make the wee basket at the symposium!
